should now see the original Problem window. Note
that the Lesson button is actually a toggle. Students
may enter the lesson repeatedly and return to the
Problem window as many times as necessary before
answering the question.
By
default, Lesson windows are not accessible prior
to answering a question in the Reading and Writing
Titles.

Using
your mouse, position the pointer over the Example button.

Click
once on the Example button. An example
similar to the current problem will appear.

Click
a second time on the Example button.
A different version of the previous example will
appear.

a third time on the Example button.
A different version of the previous example will
appear.

Click
once on the large white arrow at the top left of
the Example window to return to the problem.

3: Access the Units Conversion Chart

|

|

Using
your mouse, position the pointer over the Resource
button. |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
2. |
Click
once on the Resource button. A list of available charts
should appear. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3. |
Click
once on the line “Units Conversion Chart” to
highlight that option. An OK button will appear. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
4. |
Click
once on the OK button. The “Units Conversion
Chart” will appear. (The active Print button
only appears when a teacher logs into the Incredible
Tutor™ using the teacher password.) |

Close
the window by clicking once on the small box at the
top left (Macintosh) or the small X box near the top
right (Windows). |

4: View the Scoreboard |

Using
your mouse, position the pointer over the Scoreboard button.

Click
once on the Scoreboard button.

The
number at the top right of the window is the student’s
cumulative point total.

Click
once on the first box under awards (gray or icon-filled).
This allows you to view the requirement for the award
represented by the box. Clicking on other boxes will
display the requirements for those awards.

Find
the words “Points Breakdown.” Here
you can view the values used to generate
the score at the top right.

Click
once on the OK button to close the
Scoreboard window. |

Click
on the Goto drop-down menu at the very top of the screen.
Click on Choose Scoreboard. Choose “Soda
Shop” and click on OK. The Scoreboard
will reappear with the new theme. |
